Scary Story - 1

A babysitter was downstairs watching T.V. The children were already sleeping upstairs; the soft rain was drumming repeateldly on the windowsill.
The babysitter stared repeatedly at the statue of the green angel. The stare was penetrating and was unnerving the babysitter. She decided to call the children's parents.
"Can I really move you statue of the eerie angel somewhere else?" the babysitter asked. "Its really unnerving me."
"What statue?" the children's mother, Helen asked, who was in a car that was be drived by his husband to the restuarant. "We don't have any statues in our house, my kids our afraid of them."
"Well, I can clearly see with my own eyes," the babysitter continued, "that there is a faded green statue of an angel. It is lifesize, and has the really creepy eyes that is creeping me out here."
"Wake up my kids," the mother ordered. "Something is wrong."
"Oh my -," but the babysitter never finished her sentence.
"What the heck is going on?" the mother said, suddenly wide-eyed. He ordered his husband to drive back to their house because it was an emergency.
When they arrived at their house, they ran into the room and found no one in there. They called the police and did a search, but the babysitter and the children all mysteriously disappeared with no signs of a green statue of an angel.

Part 1

Harvey entered the laboratory feeling tired and worn out, but triumphant.
"Did you find anything yet?" asked Dr. Treman.
"Yes, indeed," Dr. Harvey replied. "I found a specific type of portein that could help and restore brain cells, successfully, without being bothered by the immune system."
"Could it cure Alzheimer's disease completely?" Dr. Treman asked, suddenly getting excited.
"Yes, it could," Dr. Harvey replied. "The virus can be sythesized by very expensive bio-material - we cannot afford such material. However, it can also be found in a very rare flower that blooms only in the summer."
     "Where is this flower?"
"Unfortunately, it is in the boundaries of the Amazon Forest. Much of the Amazon Rain Forest's flora has been undiscovered or unnamed and this is one of them."
"Where exactly is this flower?" Dr. Treman asked again, impatiently, but excited.
"We don't know. However, our satellite detector have detected such genetic molecules somewhere in the Amazon. The machine, just isn't built to find a specific place or region."
     "What does it look like?"
"According to the computer, that made a estimate using the flower's atom arrangements, the flower is uniquely scarlet and is quite easy to find in a sea of greenery."
     "When do we begin?"
"Patience, Dr. Treman," we barely have any budget for this laboratory and we only have a total of 10 people in this expedition, that are also inexperienced on any expedition. Plus, we don't have the equipment either."
"You need to know how business works, Dr. Harvey. It is all risk-taking. Starting today, we are going to save up our money and loan money from our bank. We are going to lay off some of our assistants as well."
"Oh! No, no, no, NO! This company is already on the verge of closing down, and you need to think of some other diplomatic solution of getting this company better."
"My diplomatic solution is that we find the flowers and benefit off of that."
After an hour of quarelling and arguing, they reached a compromised, which involved going on the expedition...
